About CrossFit Hot Springs
Get Fit: Do you want to increase your fitness level and perform better...then you've come to the right place. I'll work with people ranging from beginners to the average gym rats to elite athletes. So don't be intimidated or think this is only for young, fit people. CrossFit is for EVERYONE. All workouts of the day (WOD's)can be scaled or modified to meet your abilities. Even some of the top athletes have to scale workouts every now and then. The important thing is that you are working safely, and pushing yourself constantly to improve. Come find out for yourself just how quickly CrossFit will get you in the best shape of your life. The workouts are all based around functional movements, not muscle isolation. My goal is to help you become more fit and capable of performing all the things you do in your daily life. If you've followed any workout routines and didn't achieve the desired results or fitness/health levels you were after, come try CrossFit for just one month. You can always go back to the same old routines if you're not satisfied with CrossFit, but I know you'll be nothing short of amazed, just as I was. Step outside your comfort zone and come find out for yourself just how quickly CrossFit will get you in the best shape of your life.
Commitment: I am committed to getting you in the best shape of your life. Just know that getting the results you want takes even more of a commitment on your part. We are performance oriented and the results of increasing performance levels will show up aesthetically. The commitment on your part doesn't stop in the gym though. Remember, I only have you for an hour each day that you come. It is solely up to you what you do with and how you fuel your body the other 23 hours. Proper nutrition is very important. Also know that this isn't an open gym. All workouts are group training classes where you will receive personal training and proper coaching with each and every class.
Getting started at CrossFit Hot Springs: Unless you're fortunate enough to have been a high level athlete, odds are likely that you won't be familiar with many of the things we do in CrossFit. Once you decide to get started, you will need to come to at least 2 fundamental classes by yourself or with others that are just beginning as well. Some are ready to join a class shortly thereafter. Others may very likely need several more visits to get capable enough to join an ongoing class.
