Billy...that's definitely the first time I've ever been asked that. No, CrossFit is not a religious organization. Feel free to go to www.crossfit.com to learn more. The following link was very recently on CNBC and the commercial at the end has been airing regularly since it first aired during the Giants vs Packers game Sunday. http://www.cnbc.com/id/45984612

i did do some studying about it ahead of time, it is almost like a cult following, i didnt know if the cross part represented the cross for christ and the reebok triangle logo represented something similar to the trinity symbol...the father, the son, and the holy spirit

Dude...you're reading WAY too much into things. Just read through my site. Do I ever discuss religion anywhere? No. It's simply about getting actually fit...actual training and having a great time while doing it. Not "going to the gym" like most people do and not actually getting fit. What people do with the religious aspect of their life is completely up to them and them alone.

Billy...I'm not sure how familiar with CrossFit you are but I can assure you that people aren't going to judge you for your tattoos. While I don't have any nor will I ever have one...I have many, many friends that have them and many, many people that participate in CrossFit around the world have them. As long as you get along with people well and are a positive person...you'll do just fine. That's all anyone will care about. Now just to clarify something...there's a difference between powerlifting and Oly lifting. Powerlifting is three lifts...deadlift, squat and benchpress. Oly lifting is Snatch...and Clean and Jerk. We do all of them...benchpress less than the other 4 but all of them nevertheless. So if you're accomplished at any of that you'll be ahead of the game and if you've been training endurance as well due to Tri's...then you'll do fine. In no way are you too old at 35 either.
