Labor Day Hours:  Two class times tomorrow at 8 and 9 AM. There are 13 Rowers...so 13 can go off at the same time.  If we have to, we can stagger by 10 min...anyone above that number.  

I have beginners coming tomorrow at 6 and 7 AM.  If any of you that don't require much coaching/monitoring want to come in to train during that time...you may.

Below are two YouTube videos for you to watch.  Khalipa gives a great tutorial...most of which ya'll have heard us discuss when we've worked on rope climbs before.  The 2nd video is good to watch because the instructor is discussing what to do with the other person as an example.

Keep in mind Khalipa's recommendation of wearing tall socks or a shin guard.  Odds are you'll get some skin burns without them, using this technique.  The way I personally do it...the rope is always outside my legs and thus no burn.

    Hello my name is Jay Lawson, founder of CrossFit Hot Springs.  I've been following CrossFit methodologies (strength and conditioning) for over 15 years now and a certified Level 1 CrossFit Trainer since March of 2010 and a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer since July, 2016. I also hold CrossFit certifications  for Olympic Lifting, Endurance and Gymnastics.  As well, I'm a USAW Level 1 Sport Performance Coach.  I've been fitness minded since a very young age.  Nothing I've done before CrossFit was even remotely as challenging, rewarding or more exhilarating.
