We haven't done a 5k in a while. Some of you haven't done one in a very long time if at all. We need a baseline. NO...you can't do this one in your neighborhood on your own. You will find an excuse to NOT do it or if you do run it...you won't push yourself. So, I will be getting to Lakeside track a little before 7 in the morning. I will stay until 9. Believe me when I tell you that you want to do this as early as you can. Below is the alternate WOD if you feel like you don't want to run a 5 K. As much as I would like for us to honor the Chief...you all need a break from squats of any sort. So, I think you'll all like option #1 a bit more.
Complete three rounds for time of:
95/65 pound Squat clean, 30 reps
Run 800 meters
